The festival was 60 years young in 2009 and we celebrated. The stellar lineup included 2008 ECMA winner Troy MacGillivray, ECMA Nominees Chuck and Albert, three time Canadian Grand Master Mark Sullivan, US Grand National Champion Shane Cook, and the internationally renowned Calvin Vollrath. Stay tuned as we prepare to announce the 2010 lineup.

For 60 years the Maritime Fiddle Festival has been the source for lively entertainment, spirited and fun competition, and traditional Nova Scotian hospitality. It has grown from a small fundraiser originally organized to help build a community church, to Canada’s longest running old-time fiddle festival and competition.

Every year the festival welcomes participants, bus tours, and audiences from across North America and around the world. In 2010 we look forward to welcoming you for the first time, or back to join us again.
